Today I jumped in the car and headed far south of Tassie for a short walk to Waterfall Bay - a very picturesque walk with a handful of lookouts along the way.

It's a very structured walk, good walking path and barriers. There is only one small incline on the way in so if you have a pram it is still manageable.

Although there were no waterfalls today due to the lack of rain in Tasmania at the moment I can imagine it would be a tremendous site when conditions are wet.

Upon returning to the car there are two short 5 minute return walks to the lookouts for both Devil's Kitchen and The Tasman's Arch – a beautiful part of Tasmania and defiantly worth checking out.

HOW TO GET THERE:

- Drive approximately 1 hour 10 minutes (84km) from Hobart towards Eagle Hawk Neck.

- After passing Eagle Hawk Neck on the left turn into Blowhole road (there is a sign saying Blowhole/Tasmans Arch/Devils Kitchen).

- Follow this road along until you get to another sign saying Devils Kitchen and turn right here.

- Follow this road until you get to a dead end. The walk starts here.
